The Bureau of Plant Industry-La Granja National Crop Research, Development and Production Support Center had its tree planting last May 31, 2016. The tree planting is an annual activity being done by the center to mitigate climate change and to protect and preserve the environment for the future generation. It was participated by center employees, contractual workers and pakyaw laborers.
A total of 58 castañas, 81 jackfruit, 9 tambis and 40 abiu seedlings were planted at the center’s Jalandoni area.
