Committed to ensure the provisions of quality products and services offered to the customers, the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) launched its very own quality policy last August 13, 2019 at the BPI's multipurpose hall. This is one of the "extra miles" made by the bureau to join the bandwagon of other government institutions towards ISO 9001:2015 certification or also known as the ISO Quality Management System (QMS) certification.

The program was initiated with the usual flag raising ceremony. After the ceremony, Assistant Director and QMS core team leader, Gerald Glenn Panganiban gave an opening message by sincerely asking the commitment and support of the employees to the advocacies of QMS core team. Subsequently, BPI Director, George Y. Culaste and Assist. Director Panganiban spearheaded the launching of quality policy. It was immediately followed by the employees' simultaneous recitation of BPI quality policy, mission and vision. To show the unity, commitment and support in obtaining the QMS certificate, all BPI employees happily signed the said policy as a pledge to comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 certification. Finally, the launching was ended with a closing remark from Director Culaste.
