Our dear farmers are warned of the five pests to attack during the 2^nd Quarter of the year. This is based on the historical data submitted by regions. Our Crop Pest Management Division listed areas where infestations may possibly occur. Bureau of Plant Industry OIC, Vivencio R. Mamaril issued a memorandum to all DA Regional Directors to alert the staff to closely monitor pests’ occurrence. Management options and conditions that may trigger infestations were also issued for information and dissemination.  (Click here to view list)
