BPI DAVAO CENTER CELEBRATES 64th ANNIVERSARY

Center Chief Dr. Lorna Herradura, PhD warmly welcomed the employees, guests, farmers and stakeholders  during the celebration of 64^th anniversary of Davao National Crop Research and Production Support Center on March 30, 2016. “BPI Katuwang sa Pagtiyak sa Ligtas, Mataas na Uri at Masaganang Ani” was the event theme. A thanksgiving Mass was also offered. Guest speaker, NSQCSD Division Chief Ruel C. Gesmundo congratulated the Center for being a catalyst of change and excellence in research in crop production not only in Davao but in Mindanao as a whole.  He wished the Center to continue its brilliant performance of BPI mission and mandate. Field Day was also held and planting materials and seedlings were distributed to farmers and stakeholders of Davao.  During the program, the employees entertained the guests by their performance of dance hits from 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000. The Anniversary displayed the bountiful produce and talents of BPI Davao Center.
