2016 BPI CHRISTMAS CHEER
Time out for the end-of-the-year rush. Bureau of Plant Industry employees made effort to look dazzling, glamorous and gorgeous in their suits and dresses for the Agency’s Christmas dinner last December 15. Christmas was suddenly in the air when the Multi-purpose hall turned magically into a festive hall while Christmas carols played in the back ground. It was a fun-filled night and a good break from daily routine. Employees sportingly walked in the red carpet and posed in the photo booth for a selfie or groupfie. OIC Director Vivencio R. Mamaril, PhD wished everyone a joyful Christmas and to be grateful for all the blessings that come their way. He said that what matter is the celebration with people dear to their hearts. He also encouraged them to #DoItBetter in 2017. Employees proved that they are not only hardworking but talented and competitive as well. Each Division performed dance number in the tune of Christmas carols. National Plant Quarantine Services Division won the 1st prize while Administrative and Plant Product Safety and Services Divisions came 2nd and 3rd respectively. It was a simple yet joyful celebration of this year’s blessings and a cheer to the challenges ahead.
